As written by Amrod Surion….

Journal, day 20847.

”After having conducted business with my dear friend Scarnetti I decided that I wanted to try my luck. I know something is rotten about the man. He has been acting strangely lately. The trail even leads to his manor. Well, I am not going to be stopped so easily. So of course I got in my saddle and rode back to his mansion, when I got closer to his land I began sneaking closer and inspected the house from afar. It seemed quiet, perfect for me. I began casting my newest creation, a spell that allows me and a few people to enter another dimension and reappear in another location. You are not able to imagine the shock I got when I looked straight at Lanar and the rest of those traveling adventures. We have had our disagreements before and I thought for sure they would turn me in and had me hanged.

Luckily it was not so and I got to take a closer look around the room, it was some kind of library with plenty of books about different subjects. Most of them seemed to revolve around dark magic and necromancery. I even got to keep a book about different demonic entities. It might prove useful one day. I was only allowed a quick glance at it through for other more pressing matters came up. The good Mr. Thorstein had found some kind of trapdoor and wanted me to check for magical traps. After channelling my fearsome magical powers into the room I detected some kind of magical power that crept along the walls. I attempted to dispel it but it seemed to have greater power than mine. Prax, Nafaira, the good Mr. Throstein and I experimented with the trapdoor for a while. Attempting to calculate if it was the trigger for that arcane power.

Suddenly a scream pierced the silence and we rushed to the library. A very gruesome sight met us. Our former comrades were nothing more than smouldering corpses. Halfdan attempted to preserve their remains by putting them into our extra dimensional bags. We went upstairs and another strange sight met us. A large summoning circle decorated the floor, along with five to seven corpses. The remaining members of our once great group took up a defensive formation while I went in closer to inspect the circle. It was clearly used for sacrificing the living and summoning greater demons.

We were suddenly interrupted by noises downstairs; a mighty spectacle could be heard from the outside. I acted quickly and summoned one of my minions to take care of the problem. Actions, which later turned out to be completely pointless. We stood as frozen to the floor and looked down the stairwell when suddenly something flew right past my face and hit the wall behind us. Halfdan acted quickly and fired a couple of arrows down there. We heard a yelp and knew they had connected to something living. Nothing happened for a while and I turned back to the circle, studying it closer. I wonder if there were any untapped powers in it that I could utilize.

The heavy clinking of a person wearing armour could be heard downstairs and it drew closer, I rushed back to the door and could see an armed man coming up the stairs. My path was blocked but I was able to recognize the mark of the god of death and birth. Halfdan was seemingly not able to see said mark and fired another valley of arrows down there. They all hit and the brave paladin Prax moved in to finish what he thought was an evil beast. My pleas for them to stop were not heard and I gave up eventually. While this small miniature battle had stood on some strange voice had been addressing the armoured figure. It was all very confusing and I must admit that I wasn’t really paying attention to it. They were beyond the possibility of listening to reason and if I had to attempt stopping them I would risk harming them.

We eventually discovered that one of them were friends of Alden Foxglove and had come to visit them. The other one was a cleric that had come to heal him or something. The introductions were cut short when smoke began spreading in the room and we began to flee. Some jumped out of the windows while I was able to teleport out. I stood there trying to get the smell off my robe when I was hit by something. As I laid there on the ground a boot came crashing down on my back…. Twice. Seems this figure clad in scarlet had jumped on the chance of a heroic exit, a great shame that this heroic exit lead to me nearly breaking my damn back. Anyway, the house burned down and Alberto Del'gardo Garito Pocevassas Gonzales kept claiming that: ”Ghast ’ouses always return at midnaght!”

I knew such things were mere lies, but it wasn’t my manor and I am not going to waste my precious spells on such trivial matters. I think the rest of the group began following some kind of trails. I am not sure because they left without me and I had to use magic to catch up with them. When I caught up with them they were discussing following the trails on horseback so we returned to the camp to gather our horses. I think Alberto Del'gardo Garito Pocevassas Gonzales thought he would be able to outrun me easily but I had a trick or two up in my sleeves and lets just say that he wasn’t the winner of said race. We rode back to the city and I went to bed. I am not entirely sure what happened afterwards. We are currently sitting at the table and enjoying our breakfast.

Amrod looked up from his spellbook, a small smile spreading over his lips. He raised his hands to his hood and lowered it, revealing his face. Curling his hands together he turned his gaze to Thorstein.

"I am afraid we have a problem on our hands, I have been looking through the tomes of m'Lord and I have not been able to identify a spell which would be able to raise them in their current state."

Armod shakes his head and calls for another ale, some ink, a quill and a piece of paper. He begins writing something down as he takes a sip from his mug of ale once in a while.

(( *ALARM* I implore that you remember that Amrod is not all knowing, this is just him being confused by the Raise Dead spell. I know that we are blissfully unaware of the fact that they are not willing to return. ))

[With his clasical accent]

With a great smile and laugh Alberto adjust his hat a bit and continues.

[Alberto/Antonio - with his classical accent]
Alberto shows a great smils as he continues to fiddle with his "moustache"

He stops mid sentence as he seems to have torn off the left moustache, he quickly presses it back on and continues

Alberto sips a bit from his cup and eats a bit of bread, before continuing

He says with a broad grin

"Alber...
Antonio winks at Halfdan
