Chapter 2: "Beyond Darkness lies... More Darkness?!?"
The group use the remaining time at the estate to plan a tournament and execute it.
They then travel north into the local forest, here they come across a twisted area of the forest, which seems to drain the life out of its surroundings.
While traversing this terrain, they come across and ancient temple of Lathander. The group enters to explore, to find a relic that the Cleric needs in order to regain his divine powers.
Even while approaching the temple "Mr. Backstab" complains about "ghostly" whispers, and continuesly warm the group of impending trouble...
While ignoring the rogue the group release a creature of darkness. The Golden Heart then bravely fled from the temple, and setup camp outside the twisted forest.
However...
After they break camp they notice that the twisted trees are all around them - They hurry back to the temple to find it different, the Cleric notice that they have "jumped" to the Demi-Plane of Shadow - The Golden Heart then enters the temple once again, after series of tests that slowly drain the group of strength and vitality they encounter the shadowy figure of the creature they released. The group bravely run to find a hidden altar-room to finish a ritual to zeal the creature once more, while holding the monster off.
Miss monk successfully gain access to the altar, and the ghost of a lathander high priest finishes, the group is revitalized and the creature imprisoned once more.

While fighting the creature, The Knight, The Paladin, The Druid and The Ranger have all been "touched" - and has a lessened mark on them. The Cleric also having been "touched" has a full power mark on him.

You could also just have listened and maybe retreated before releasing the evil shadow thingie... But of course, that meant you had to listen to your Rogue... I see how that's a problem for all of you...

Chapter 3: "The Fair Folk strikes back"
As the group ventures out of the forest, a druid cled in white contacts the group and informs "Mr. Shapechanger" that his order needs him, and that it would be a good idea to bring the group.
The Golden Heart then ventures into another forest, where there are Pixies about. After getting slightly annoyed with their pranks they venture deeper into the forest. In the depts of the forest they find a lake, with a small island in the middle. After battling the guardian of the sacred tree and a nymph residing there, the group chop down the tree and find a black diamond inside.
After exploring some more they find a cave near the lake. They venture into the cave and find roots of the holy tree, as poking and cutting in these and fidling with a statue of a hand in the middle of the room, then venture deeper into the cave, there they find the inner guardian, an earth elemental conjured to keep the treasures of the lake. After a hard pressed battle the adventure party win and loot the cave. The Golden Heart then return to Ceshra.

Chapter 4: "Declearing war on the Thieves Guild"
The Golden Heart group sends their rogue into Ceshra to track down the criminal elements of the city. Trying his luck at one of the local inns the rogue attempts to get on their good side, after that does not go as plan he proceed to murder 7 people at the inn. The rest of the group comes to retrieve shortly after he falls unconscious, making sure to voice and show their displeasure of how the rogue was handled.
The thieves guild strikes back at the group, kidnapping some members and demanding monetary satisfaction, which the group does give into at the beginning.
The Golden Heart then uses one of the services of the thieves guild, and gets into contact with their local alchemist that make potions and poisons. Sometime after this meeting the thieves guild members die as if all their body fluids has been vaporized. The same thing happened to a small group of thieves when they tried to "apprehend" the rogue.

Chapter 5: "The Runaway-Bride"
While the adventure group is busy waging a war with a thief guild the ranger contacts his "former family". Because of a cryptic message from the duskblade, he suspects that something sinister is afoot. After some snooping around he finds that his youngest sister is supposed to be married in a ten-day. While snooping around some more he is able to get an invitation to the wedding from the husband to be. While the group plan of what to do at the wedding they go about repairing the knights house.
The golden heart group then sends the ranger and miss monk into the wedding, to do what is necessary.
Being unable to reach them with rings of telepathy the group waits until after nightfall before going back to the city... After an hour or so the knight returns to the keep to investigate what is going on with the ranger and miss monk. The guards refuse him entry and he is required to resort to force to get entry to the keep. The guards call of backup and a large scale battle ensures. In the end the knight surrenders and is arrested. The following noon his trial begins and he declare himself to be guilty of several murders, disruption of the public order and aiding a kidnapper - Shortly thereafter his head is put on the block and is chopped off.
The ranger and miss monk survive an ambush that seems was meant to prevent them to do anything at the wedding, with some help they are able to disguise themselves as other guests. After an emergency appears they are able to be alone with the bride to be and take her with them. At the inn they have a long talk about their family and in the end the youngest sister walks home to their estate.

Chapter 6: "The Duchess of the Gloria's"
After a cryptic message the group is notified that the Duchess has been poisoned. After investigating, it becomes apparent that the Duchess was poisoned at a royal party. As such she is kept at the royal castle under heavy security. The Golden Heart then sets itself up to try and get in contact with the duchess while she is staying up at the castle. They tried to disguise themselves as part of the guard, the guard captain and a servant to no avail. The group then goes on to discuss how to gain access, elaborate plans on how to jump over the moat and scale the castle walls are made. In the end they ask Count Hanya'Kuile to make up another excuse to get to see the royal administrator, which the cleric does and gains access to the duchess chambers. After examining he concludes that the duchess is rather close to death but is kept alive by a stasis spell, which also makes it impossible to harm her without removing it first.

Chapter 7: "The Ceshra Tradition revealed"
After yet another meeting with Count Hanya'Kuile the group confirms that there is indeed a conflict between the nobles in Ceshra, they suspect that it might have something to do with the rangers little sister never returning home, Count Hanya'Kuile states that it has been going on since the beginning of the nation and the only changes to it is how active people involve themselves with it. Especially now where the Queen who has no royal or even noble lineage is sitting on the throne, trouble is brewing again. And it has also started a war within the underworld, as the thieves guilds has been hired by various nobles to poke at each other resulting in a battle of the thieves. The paladin then reveals that Count Hanya'Kuile is Evil! After talking about his involvement with the whole affair they conclude that he has something to do with the Duchess being in a stasis, after talking some more with the Count, the Golden Heart group leaves his estate.
